Get Your Marble Floors and Countertops Cleaned, Polished and Preserved
How Your Marble Surfaces Became Stained or Scratched
Marble provides a beautiful surface for either floors or countertops, but it is vulnerable to scratching and staining:
- Staining – Marble is vulnerable to common household acids contained within food products (like soda and vinegar). Stringent cleaners can also damage and stain marble (and other stone).
- Scratching – Marble is a hard stone, but it can scratch more easily than harder stones like granite. The more use (or foot traffic) marble receives, the higher the likelihood for scratching damage.
Restoring Your Marble and Preventing Future Scratching and Staining
Marble is such a wonderful stone, but to keep it looking and functioning in peak form, it needs to be properly maintained. Ideally, marble should be cleaned and sealed every 6-10 months (depending on the amount of use the marble surface gets).
